= Wireless Battle Mesh =

The Wireless Battle Mesh is a non-commercial, volunteer-organized annual convention.

The convention features a variety of talks and workshops on technical and political issues related to mesh networking, wireless community networks and Openwrt firmware development.

The purpose of the event is to further topics such as right to connectivity, community-owned infrastructure and related free open source projects.

== Attending ==

Attending the convention always is free of charge. To make joining the event as affordable as possible, an accommodation package is offered which provides low cost accommodation. 

Should you not have the means to cover for your travel expenses, please reach out to the orga crew. If sponsoring budget allows, we will support you.

Mesh enthusiasts set-up hands-on testbed for mesh routing protocols for testing in real-world environments. Panels with technical presentations & discussions as well as community mingling are part of the agenda.

Members of wireless communities and activists meet to present & discuss updates on latest developments (community news as well as political events).

Meeting ground for Openwrt developers, contributors & users to discuss latest developments, hardware hacking sessions and workshops.
