What?

The Wireless Battle Mesh version 3.1416 aims to test a network of 30 isolated routers with different routing protocols, in a countryside environnement (cows, trees, pastures, and forests).

When?

Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2010.

Where?

Florenville, South of Belgium, next to French border, next to Luxembourg.

Hosting

Zoobab is organising the event at his parent's place, which offers a large area (50 ares) where you can put your tent, with electricity, an ethernet cable, and showers and toilets facilities.

The house also offers enough indoor place to sleep (bring your floor matelas and sleeping bag).

Beer

The abbaye of Orval is at 6km from the main city of Florenville, and produces one of the best trappist beer of Belgium, and of the world, since there are few trappists.

Maginot

The Maginot Line was a defense line of France built in the 1930ies between the World War I and World War II. It was easily defeated by the German army at the beginning of the World War II.

It can provide high points with good line of sight for longshots and other wifi and antenna tests.
